Book Club this Sunday features David Sedaris'
When You Are Engulfed in Flames. The only other Sedaris I am familiar with is the Santaland Diaries which I heard on CD. I'm not exactly sure how the book discussion will go - maybe people will read some of their favorite funny passages?

This from a woman who chose a memoir for one of her book selections? Please Charlotte, David Sedaris is more than funny. He has grown into a the best kind of essayist/memoirist/diarist -- dark and funny, reminding us of the goofy and the sad parts of being in a family, and celebrating the steadfast love he has with Hugh. Cheez.
David Sedaris has grown into a deeper and still funny memoirist. The more he writes, the more he mines the darkest parts of our relationships and internal dialogues for some of the funniest stuff he's done.
