Next month our book group is going to discuss A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick. I'd heard about this book from either NPR or the NY Times, about a mail-order bride in Northern Wisconsin, and it was on my list to read. Well, it's about a mail-order bride, but not at all what I thought it was going to be. The main characters reminded me somewhat about Kate in East of Eden, if that gives you some idea.

Book Club Selection
Next month our book group is going to discuss A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick.
