Since I rely heavily on my iPod for teaching, I will need to replace it, and I have my eye on a new nano. The questions I have to answer first are 1) what color 2) what to have engraved on it. Also, should I wait until Christmas so Santa can bring it to me?

Well, your Christmas option means that you'll KNOW what you're getting, or at least one thing that you're getting. Buying it NOW means immediate satisfaction and more time to load all that you want on it.

Are you *sure* you want a Nano? It seems the large capacity of the classic iPod is more suited to what you use it for...
I vote for Christmas: Santa is probably more generous with you than you would be with yourself. And BIG hints help.
