On one of our evening constitutionals, we wandered through Pilgrim Place and saw this angel in front of Napier Place. I remember that Eleanor Scott Meyers had mentioned that she had painted it, and after I took the photo, I asked her to tell me the story behind the angel.
A number of years ago there was a project in Los Angeles to paint various angels. Two people at Pilgrim Place ended up with one of these angels, but after awhile the paint came off. They gave the angel to Eleanor Scott and asked her to repaint it, and this is what she came up with.
