Banner Day
On my walk to the library this morning, I snapped some shots of the banners hanging on the lightposts and created the new montage for this blog's header. The background is a shot looking down Harvard Ave. above 8th St. The camphor trees spread over the street creating a canopy, or what my girls used to call a "tree tunnel."

Love the banners & the background. "Tree tunnel" is a perfect description of that block. I have sometimes driven through there just to experience it. Beautiful!
