Yes, give me snail tracks over a dead squirrel any day. :-) I think it's amazing how far snails move in their own s-l-o-w way.
Thanks for not sharing a photo of the squirrel. On Monday I was unfortunate enough to see a squirrel hit by oncoming traffic. Obviously the squirrel was even more unfortunate. :-(
