Thinking ahead to Italy
Next Friday Hal and I take off for Italy - to tour Tuscany and Rome with Claire. Tonight we have been pouring over maps and a guidebook. Since there is no way we can even come close to seeing "everything," our plan is to take it slowly and just savor where we are at the time. I look forward to daily gelato and wine, although not necessarily at the same time of day.

It's wonderful that you all are going to see Claire. Have a marvelous trip. I look forward to "seeing" it through your talented lens.
Have I told you lately that when my kids are grown and out of the house I hope to be just like you and Hal???? Have a great trip!
