In keeping with a busy weekend (Women's Choir in the morning, book club in the evening), the afternoon was filled with music. Once again, I enjoyed playing with the Village Pipers from the Claremont Community School of Music in the garden of one of the houses on a garden tour. We enjoyed sitting under the shade of a huge live oak tree overlooking Claremont from our vantage point in Padua Hills.
This year I not only got to play the recorder, but also the violin, the bodhran and the stick (I conducted a few pieces).
